Do you want to save your local library, oppose a planning application or get your MP to take up an important issue? This workshop will be led by a tutor with over thirty years’ experience of campaigning at local, national and international levels.

Whether you want to save your local pub, oppose a planning application, run a successful trade union campaign at work, or if you are an anti-poverty activist who wants to get the law changed, you need to know how to campaign to win and influence decisions. This is a practical course based on general principles. It will include opportunities to rehearse some of the skills needed to run a successful campaign.
N.B There will be an optional visit to the Houses of Parliament – date and transport costs to be confirmed at first session. (Help with transport costs may be possible – please ask in the office)
