Geology and nature walks – Summer 2017

IMG_0283.JPGA chance to explore the geology, scenery and wildlife of the East Midlands. First session at The Mill; outdoor meetings thereafter. It is hoped to arrange shared transport and lifts. Walks will involve distances of 3-4 miles, usually starting at 10.30am and finishing at 3pm. Visit locations to be confirmed after consultation with students.

Earth and nature studies – Autumn 2016

Dovedale, Peak DistrictA unique opportunity to investigate the rocks plants, animals and their interaction in the landscape. Gerry and Debbie will share their biological and geological expertise to discover new ways of looking at nature focusing on Derbyshire and the Peak District.
